This GDPR-compliant privacy notice is provided to tenants and guarantors of commercial property to provide information about how their personal data will be used.

In general, we do not collect personal data and as such the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is not applicable. However, in certain cases we may obtain personal information from you, and the following sets out what we may collect, why we collect it and how we protect that information.

This privacy notice lists the types of information we will collect. It should be noted at this point that there is no sharing of this information with third parties, other than is necessary to assure ourselves of your credit worthiness, for insurance purposes and to satisfy our own Know Your Customer (KYC) process.

What do we collect?

Valbrian Enterprises Ltd may obtain the following information from you to support the day to day running of our commercial business and some of this may be considered as personal information;

• Date of Birth

• Occupation

And as part of our KYC due diligence we also collect information supporting confirmation of your identity prior to completion of a lease agreement such as;

• Your ID,

• A utility bill

How long do we keep it and where is it stored?

It is necessary to retain this information while the contract and tenancy are in force, and we do keep the information post completion and contract exit to enable settlement of any payments due. As this is a commercial enterprise and you have entered into a contract with Valbrian Enterprises Ltd then we reserve the right to retain your information to use in future commercial or legal/regulatory activities.

All information is collected, stored and processed within the UK, and there is no EU border transfer or international information transfer.

How do we protect your information?

Our systems and network are supported by a professional IT organisation, and as such benefit from commercial grade encryption, regular software and security patching, and malware and spam protection.

Information erasure and destruction

Where there are no pursuant commercial or legal proceedings and the directors of Valbrian Enterprises Ltd are satisfied that it is appropriate to erase or destroy your information, then this will be completed according to industry standard erasure and disposal procedures.
